Dağlı Kalesi is a ruined ancient fortress in the Erdemli district of Mersin Province, southern Turkey, perched on a mountaintop overlooking the Mediterranean coast.
Constructed during the Roman Empire era, it was later utilized by the Byzantines and the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia for strategic defense, controlling key passes and routes in the rugged Taurus Mountains.
Today, the site features scattered stone walls and remnants adapted to the terrain, accessible via challenging hikes and offering insights into multi-layered regional fortifications.
