Duillier Castle
Duillier, Switzerland, Switzerland
Château de Duillier is a 15th-century rural castle nestled in the heart of a wine-growing estate in the municipality of Duillier, canton of Vaud, Switzerland, owned by the Humbert family for three generations.
Acquired by Jean-Baptiste Fatio in 1669, it once housed a printing workshop that produced works like a French-Italian dictionary in 1677, linked to astronomers Nicolas and Jean-Christophe Fatio, before later passing to other owners including Jean-Louis-René Bazin in 1796.
Recognized as a Swiss heritage site of national significance, the well-preserved manor with outbuildings now supports wine production from 14 grape varieties, blending tradition with modern cellaring amid the La Côte vineyard route.
