Gutsbetrieb Ötlishausen AG operates at Schloss Ötlishausen, a medieval castle-turned-estate in Hohentannen, Canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, where the site originated as a 12th-century fortress built by the Lords of Ötlishausen, featuring a robust 13th-century tower with 2.3-meter-thick walls and a Romanesque chapel dedicated to St. Michael.

The property passed through noble families like the Schenk von Castell and Zollikofer von Altenklingen, who rebuilt it around 1590 into a Renaissance-style manor with added residential wings, economic buildings, and a gatehouse, before serving as a school for Zurich from 1953 to 2007.
