Jaunpils Castle is a well-preserved medieval castle located in Jaunpils, Tukums Municipality, in Latvia’s Semigallia region. Built by the Livonian Order in the late 14th century and first documented in 1411, it originally served as a fortified stronghold and later evolved into a manor residence. Over the centuries, the castle was owned by the influential von der Recke family, suffered damage during wars and the 1905 Revolution, and was subsequently rebuilt and restored.
