Ruina Belmont, also known as Belmont Castle ruins, is a medieval fortress remnant located near Flims in the Graubünden region of Switzerland, built around the 10th or 11th century as the ancestral seat of the Barons of Belmont.
Positioned on a high rock amid forests between Fidaz and Bargis, it offered panoramic views and included a residential wing and cistern, serving as a home until the 14th century when it was traded to the Rhäzüns family and subsequently abandoned.
The well-preserved ruins attract hikers today, showcasing its strategic location and historical significance in the Swiss Alps.
