Ruine Felsenburg is a 12th-century castle ruin perched on a rocky spire above Kandergrund in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, constructed by the Freiherr of Kien to guard the road over the Gemmi Pass into Valais.
Passed through noble families like Wädenswil and Turn, it was acquired by Bern in 1400 and subsequently abandoned, leaving only a rectangular main tower and outer wall remnants today. Classified as a Swiss heritage site of national significance, the site offers dramatic views over the Kandertal valley near Mitholz.
