Schloss Hünegg in Hilterfingen, Switzerland, is a fairy-tale Renaissance Revival castle built between 1861 and 1863 for Prussian Baron Albert von Parpart, inspired by French Loire Valley châteaux like Blois and Chenonceau, with architecture by Heino Schmieden overlooking Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps.

In 1899, architect Gustav Lemke-Schuckert acquired and renovated the interiors in opulent Art Nouveau style, preserving original furnishings, stained glass, and lavish details that evoke 1900s aristocratic life as if residents just stepped out.

Now a museum of historicist and Jugendstil domestic culture open seasonally, it features guided tours, a café, exotic park grounds with animals, ship models, and events amid stunning terraces, recognized as a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
