Schloss Rhäzüns is one of Switzerland's oldest castles, located on a steep cliff above the Hinterrhein river in the village of Rhäzüns, Graubünden canton.

First referenced in 960 and explicitly as a castle in 1282, it served as the ancestral seat of the powerful Rhäzüns barons during the 12th-13th centuries, who expanded their influence through alliances like the 1395 Ober Bund before joining the Grey League in 1424. 

After the family's extinction in 1458, it changed hands among nobles including the Zollerns, Marmels, Habsburgs, and Planta families, with additions like a chapel, gatehouse, and renovations up to the 18th century before passing to Graubünden canton in 1819; today, the preserved structure with frescoed residential wings and bergfried remnants holds national heritage status.
