Schloss Schauensee is a medieval castle perched on a rocky hilltop in Kriens near Lucerne, Switzerland, first mentioned in the 13th century and likely built around that time by Knight Rudolf von Schauensee as a fortified residence.

It fell into ruins by the early 14th century before late 16th-century rebuilding by Johannes von Mettenwyl, followed by major 18th-century Baroque renovations by the Meyer von Schauensee family, who shaped its current landmark form with a prominent tower at 572 meters elevation.

Acquired by Kriens municipality in 1963 and recognized as a cultural property of national significance, the privately owned castle hosts local events and receptions, with grounds open to visitors offering panoramic views over Lucerne despite limited parking.
