Sonnenberg Castle is a Renaissance-style château perched on the Immenberg slopes at 649 meters in Stettfurt, Canton of Thurgau, Switzerland, first mentioned in 1242 as the seat of the noble Sonnenberg family before passing to the Landenbergs, who rebuilt it after destructions in the Appenzell and Old Zurich Wars.

Reconstructed after a 1595 fire by Jost Zollikofer in the style of Altenklingen Castle, it served as a governorate for Einsiedeln Abbey from 1678 until 2007, when an Austrian financier acquired it for renovation into a modern estate amid prehistoric settlement discoveries dating back to 4300 BC.

Recognized as a Swiss heritage site of national significance, it now houses a restaurant offering dining with panoramic views while ongoing works preserve its layered medieval, noble, and monastic history.
