Swissminiatur in Melide, Ticino, is an open-air miniature park showcasing over 120 detailed models of Switzerland’s most important landmarks, including famous buildings, castles, and monuments at a scale of 1:25.

The park covers about 14,000 square meters and features a network of 3.5 kilometers of model railway tracks with 18 trains, as well as moving boats, cable cars, and funiculars. Surrounded by scenic mountains and located by Lake Lugano, the park is beautifully landscaped with 1,500 plants and over 15,000 flowers.

It offers interactive attractions for families and children such as a playground, coin-operated rides, and a small train ride around the park, along with a self-service restaurant. Open from mid-March to mid-November, Swissminiatur provides a charming and educational glimpse of Switzerland’s diverse geography and architecture in a compact and engaging format.
