Tērvete Wooden Castle is a reconstructed 12th century Semigallian wooden fortress located in Tērvete Parish, Dobele Municipality, Latvia. Built using archaeological research from the historic Tērvete hillfort area, it offers visitors a glimpse into the life, culture, and military traditions of the Semigallians, one of the ancient Baltic tribes. The castle also houses the Tērvete History Museum, whose exhibits focus on the history of Tērvete and the Semigallia region from prehistory through the early medieval period. Visitors can explore collections of archaeological jewellery, weapons, household items, clothing reconstructions, and other artifacts that illustrate everyday life in the Iron Age.
