The Travnica Fortress, also known as Travnik Castle or Old Town Fortress, is a well-preserved medieval fortress in Travnik, Central Bosnia, dating back to the late 14th or early 15th century.

It was likely built during the reign of Bosnian kings Tvrtko II or Ostoja and served as a defense structure against Ottoman expansion. After the Ottoman conquest in 1463, the fortress was expanded and turned into an important military and administrative center, featuring watchtowers and fortified walls. Situated on a hill overlooking Travnik, it provides panoramic views of the town and surrounding landscape.

The fortress holds historical significance as Travnik became the capital of the Bosnian Ottoman province and home to the Bosnian viziers from 1699 to 1850. Today, the fortress is a national monument and popular tourist attraction, hosting a museum that showcases the rich cultural and military history of the area.
