Vestiges de Bossonnens are the medieval ruins of a 12th-century castle and fortified bourg in Bossonnens, Canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, recognized as a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
Originally controlled by the Abbey of Saint-Maurice and later the Blonay and Oron families, the site featured a square donjon, a Savoyard-style round tower from around 1260, and a chapel, serving as a key lordship until the castle burned in 1475 during the Burgundian Wars.
Archaeological digs from 2004-2011 uncovered walls, a northern square tower, and a decayed bourg, now accessible via a didactic trail with 3D models highlighting its historical layout.
