Villa Mettlen is a historic country estate and manor house in Muri bei Bern, Canton of Bern, Switzerland, first documented in 1650 as Mettlengut under owner Samuel Ougspurger.
Enhanced around 1750 by Johann Albrecht von Steiger with artistic improvements and later by Count Friedrich von Pourtalès in the 19th century, it was sold to Muri municipality in the 1960s by César Gustav Tauber on condition of conversion into a cultural center.
Since 1970, the neoclassical villa has served as headquarters for the Muri-Gümligen music school, with its ground floor and vaulted cellars available for events like weddings and conferences, listed as a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
