Castle Tongelaar in Mill, Netherlands, was first documented in 1282 when Jan van Cuyk dedicated the fortified site to Count Floris V of Holland, who quartered soldiers there until the count's murder in 1296 broke the feudal tie.

Owned by noble families like Van Cuyk until the 15th century and later Van Merwick, it features a surviving early 15th-century square brick gate tower—once with a drawbridge and prison—that forms part of an 18th-19th century farm courtyard, while other medieval elements like a possible motte and annexes were archaeologically confirmed nearby.

Passing through Dutch and Belgian lineages into the 20th century, it was restored after acquisition by Brabants Landschap foundation and now operates as a venue with concerts, exhibitions, and fruit-related history tied to its estate.
