Castle Waardenburg is a medieval ruin situated in Waardenburg, Gelderland, Netherlands, near the Waal River.

Built starting in 1265 with a wooden tower by knight Rudolph de Cock under Count Otto II of Gelre, it evolved by 1283 into a polygonal stone castle with wings, a large eastern square keep, ring walls, towers, fortified bailey, and moat.

During the Eighty Years' War in 1574, William of Orange besieged it due to occupant Catharina van Gelder's Spanish allegiance, destroying the south wing and bailey, leaving its distinctive horseshoe shape after partial 17th-century restoration by Johan Vijgh and later owners like the Van Pallandt family.

Now owned by the Friends of Gelderland Castles foundation and used as offices, it underwent refurbishment in 2011 but remains closed to the public.
