Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Kasteel Coevorden occupies a historic 11th-century castle in Coevorden, Netherlands, the only one in northern Netherlands and among the country's oldest, once serving as a key military fortress during the Eighty Years' War to defend the northern borders of the Holy Roman Empire.

The adjacent hotel building, a former grain warehouse renovated in 2011, offers 24 rooms alongside the castle's event spaces, à la carte restaurant, bar, and terrace overlooking green surroundings ideal for cycling and walking in areas like Bargerveen.

Acquired by Fletcher Hotels in March 2024 from near closure following bankruptcy, it continues as a luxury 4-star venue for stays, weddings, meetings, and dining in Drenthe’s oldest fortified town, granted city rights in 1407.
