Kasteel Well in Well, Limburg, Netherlands, is a fully restored 14th-century water castle built on a sturdy sand dune in a marshy area away from the Meuse River, featuring a moated main structure with remnants of a north-corner tower, outer earthen defenses, and a drawbridge added during expansions.

First owned by nobles like Arnold van Straelen around 1320, it passed through at least twelve families including Van Baerle, Van Aerendael, Van Bylandt, Van Vlodrop, and De Liedel until 1852, enduring sieges in the Eighty Years' War and occupation shifts among Dutch, Spanish, and German powers.

Damaged in 1944 during WWII, it was repaired post-war and changed hands to non-noble owners like Dr. Richard Wolters in 1906, now serving as a private site with medieval architecture amid gardens.
