Lake Riiska is a small, shallow lake in the southern Estonian town of Tõrva, located by the Valga road on the southeast edge of the town.
It has about 2 hectares of surface area and reaches a maximum depth of around 10.5 meters, with shallow, sandy shores that make it comfortable for swimming and family‑friendly use. The lake is best known for its popular sandy beach area, which includes a children’s playground, toilets, and a lifeguard on duty during the summer, as well as Estonia’s highest diving tower set up on the water.
The calm, clear conditions and the nearby cafes and walking areas make it a local favorite for summer swimming, picnics, and recreational outings close to the center of Tõrva.
