Noordwijk is a charming coastal town and municipality in South Holland, Netherlands, spanning about 75 square kilometers with around 44,000 residents as of recent counts.

Originally a fishing village dating back to around 1200, it evolved into a popular seaside resort known for its expansive sandy beaches, dunes, and a lively boulevard lined with hotels, restaurants, and terraces that draw over a million overnight visitors yearly. 

The area splits into Noordwijk aan Zee, the beachfront hub with a historic lighthouse, rescue station, and 17th-century church, and Noordwijk-Binnen, a quieter inland village with cultural roots, all surrounded by the vibrant bulb fields of the Dune and Bulb Region that burst into colorful tulip displays each spring.
