Folly Arboretum and Winery is a unique 5-hectare botanical garden, family-owned winery, and restaurant located in Badacsonyörs on the northern shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the lake.

Founded in 1905 by Dr. Gyula Folly, a doctor from Pécs, who planted the core 0.4-hectare rocky "Old Arboretum" above the vineyards, the garden has been tended for 120 years and is now cared for by the fourth generation of the Folly family. The arboretum features hundreds of pine trees forming a cypress and cedar grove, along with 200 species of deciduous trees and shrubs and thousands of perennials, including notable cedars and cypresses.

Visitors can walk among these gorgeous trees up to a lookout tower for magnificent views of Lake Balaton, then rest on the grill terrace (open spring to fall) sipping homemade syrup, coffee, or Folly wines with grilled delicacies. The winery, inaugurated in 2020 with a modern cellar at the garden's north-western corner, produces 45,000 bottles annually, focusing mainly on white wines from characteristic Badacsony varieties like Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris), Olaszrizling (Welschriesling), Kéknyelű, Muscat Ottonel, and Budai Zöld, with popular wines including the fruity Boróka blend and elegant barrel-aged Cédrus.
