Verpeléti Horgásztó is a popular fishing lake located about 3 kilometres east of Verpelét in Heves County, at the foothills of Hungary’s Mátra Mountains. Surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and natural scenery, it offers a peaceful setting for outdoor recreation and relaxation. The lake covers around 32 hectares and has an average depth of about 2.5 metres.
