Örsúr Vára is the site of an early medieval earthwork fortress located on Latorvár Hill near the village of Sály in northern Hungary.

Archaeological evidence suggests that the fortification was built in the 10th century and served as the center of the Örsúr clan during the early years of the Hungarian state. The castle occupies part of a hill that had been used even earlier as a fortified settlement during the Late Bronze Age. Large earth ramparts still outline the site, showing how the fortress once protected its inhabitants and controlled the surrounding area.

Although no standing buildings remain today, the site is an important archaeological monument and offers impressive views of the Bükk foothills and nearby valleys. Its connection to Hungary’s early history and the legends recorded in the Gesta Hungarorum make it a notable historical landmark.
