Rakov Škocjan is a picturesque karst valley located in Inner Carniola, Slovenia, formed by the River Rak carving through limestone over time and notably shaped by the collapse of cave ceilings.

The valley features striking geological formations including two major natural stone bridges known as the Big Natural Bridge and Little Natural Bridge, which are remnants of a once extensive cave system. The 2.5 km-long gorge is part of a protected landscape park, one of Slovenia's oldest, celebrated for its unique karst phenomena like hollows, springs, and caves.

The valley also supports diverse flora and fauna, with hiking and biking trails allowing visitors to explore its natural beauty and geological wonders. Rakov Škocjan is also historically significant, named after the River Rak and the nearby ruins of the Saint Cantianus church, blending stunning natural features with cultural heritage in a tranquil setting.
