Várbérc is the site of a small medieval hilltop fort overlooking the village of Szuha in Nógrád County, Hungary.

Situated on a 382-meter-high hill above the valley, the fortified area was protected by earthworks, ditches, and stone walls, making use of the natural slopes for defense. Archaeological excavations have uncovered the foundations of a stone tower and sections of surrounding walls, along with artifacts dating mainly from the 12th to 14th centuries.

Although the castle is not mentioned in surviving medieval documents, the findings indicate that it was an important local stronghold during the Middle Ages. Today, only ruins and earthwork remains are visible, but the site offers insight into the region’s medieval past and provides scenic views of the surrounding Mátra landscape.
